should in no way be misconstrued as an inducement to bypass the usual and accepted
means
of finding a stolen pet or object through the usual law enforcement agencies. |
Before you request for assistance, you should be
aware of the following things:
1. We are staffed completely with volunteers.
These are the same volunteers that deal with finding missing, lost, or
abducted children. Their
involvement takes time and energy away from other cases they are working on,
as well as their their personal lives. They
are happy to be of service and help those in need - but their services should not be taken
lightly. They are not interested in being utilized for entertainment purposes, or
scientific investigations & studies.
2. We will cooperate with any and all law
enforcement agencies on missing person & abducted child cases. We
regret that we do not have the time to do so on pet & object cases.
3. Please read our
Success Rate page. The more accurate information you can provide to
us, the higher our success ratio
becomes. A Picture of your Pet will be required... Pictures of objects are
not required but are helpful. Please be prepared to email a picture of the
object if requested.
4. You will be asked to make a $15 donation first.
This
donation helps to cover the administrative costs of our main focus -
finding missing, lost & abducted children & adults. All Donations are
non-refundable. Thank you.
